DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE Twenty years ago, Gotham City was a crime-ridden, crumbling ruin. And then something changed. A dark knight emerged from the shadows that had been plaguing Gotham for decades, to defend the city and bring its criminals to justice. Working outside the often corrupt law of the land, the Batman struck terror into the hearts of those who preyed on the weak and innocent. For two decades, Batman has protected Gotham City, and his work has only started. Bruce Wayne is Gotham City's favorite son and most notorious resident all at once. The scion of one of the great families that helped found Gotham, he's known as much for his often frivolous, playboy ways as he is for his generous philanthropy and the great strides that Wayne Enterprises has made to restoring Gotham to its former glories. |
This Bruce is based primarily on the newest film incarnation, introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will take his canon from there as much as possible. He may incorporate certain comic elements as well to fill in the gaps until the DCEU decides to fill them in for me. I can play in action or prose, past or present tense, as needed. I'm not the fastest tagger, but will happily backtag a thread forever, so don't worry when RL gets in the way.
